Russell Westbrook Fires Angry Response on Lakers Seemingly Continuous Struggles

The Los Angeles Lakers are losing games, and fans are a bit concerned about the team. Anthony Davis is out and the team struggled to win games in his absence. The front office tried to find instant solution but none of those worked. Two-way deals, rotations… Russell Westbrook addressed Lakers struggles and his reaction was a bit… surprising.

We all know that Broddie is not someone who’d entertain reporters. Well, these people seem to enjoy their exchange with Broddie. Is he frustrated about the current situation in LA? Let’s not forget that some people believe the front office should trade him away.

“I mean that’s obvious. Everybody knows that, but nobody cares. They don’t want to hear that. That’s just reality. Because every game we get asked the same question of ‘Hey, can you guys figure it out.’ But everybody obviously knows that we haven’t been able to see what our team can actually be like thus far.”

Russell Westbrook is honest about Lakers sturggles

He wasn’t that bad after all.

“But we understand that, and like I just said, our job is to be able to keep our head down, stay locked in on one common goal and that’s at the end of the year just winning a championship and to do that is not going to be easy. It’s not going to be an easy road. And we understand that and have to stay with it and continue to move forward.”

Players missed significant time due to injuries and COVID-19. LeBron was out due to his injury and also earned a suspension. He also entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Westbrook had to isolate himself, too, but he returned to the floor sooner than expected.

Davis will miss at least four weeks. His team will have to try to stay afloat despite all the obstacles. Some of the players returned to game action. Trevor Ariza is back. Is this enough? LA lost the game to the Phoenix Suns and it was really frustrating. Hopefully, everything will turn well for the purple and gold. They have to avoid the play-in tournament.
