Russell Westbrook Shares NSFW Message on His Play With Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers added another loss to their chart. Players are a bit frustrated. They tried to do their best but it wasn’t enough. LeBron James didn’t like the fact that his teammates lost another game, but he warned them that no one will feel sorry for them. Russell Westbrook has a message, too.
In the Christmas Day loss to the Brooklyn Nets, Westbrook missed 16 of 20 field-goal attempts. Let’s not forget that Broddie also had his seventh triple-double of the regular season. He finished the night with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists.

Russell Westbrook delivers his message
In Monday’s session with the media, Broddie addressed doubters. Guess what… He doesn’t even pay attention to their nonsense. He is one of the most competitive players and that’s the only thing that matters right now.
“Honestly, I’m over the whole situation: what everybody else wants me to do, what they think I should be doing. I’m gonna go out and just play and do what I do best: and that’s compete my ass off.
“Honestly, I think I’ve been fine. The conversation has been heavily on how I’m playing and what I’m been doing, but I think people are expecting me to have f***** 25, 15, and 15, which, that is not normal … That’s not like a normal thing that people do consistently … I know I’ve done it for the past five years or so … So when people are saying ‘Russ be Russ,’ I think nobody knows what that means, I think people just say it … but nobody actually knows what the means besides myself.”
Frank Vogel is still out and David Fizdale is doing the job for him. He shares similar sentiment with LeBron and praised Westbrook for his great game and playmaking.
“What we are encouraging him to do is what he said: he’s gotta be himself … A lot of people’s making the noise about the missed layups, but, as a coach, if I got Russell Westbrook at the rim for layups, I’m living with whatever happens. That’s where you want him … He had 17 shots in the paint. That’s big-time.”
