Skip Bayless Fires Shot At Bill Belichick While Dumping On Josh Allen

Skip Bayless is not a fan of many people and Bill Belichick is his latest target. The New England Patriots head coach helped his players win the most anticipated game of the season. They beat the Buffalo Bills in freezing temperature. Patriots players joined forces to defeat a strong opponent. Well, Bayless would say that Belichick is just an overrated head coach who got away “with it because Josh Allen is not that guy.”

“I’m not in the Hall of Fame, but I know a lot about football,” Bayless said Tuesday on FS1’s “Undisputed.” “And what I saw last night was an overrated Belichick getting real cute and getting away with it because Josh Allen is not that guy. Once again, big stage, big moment, where are you, Josh?”

Skip Bayless criticizes Josh Allen and Bill Belichick

Bayless blasted Allen for the mistakes he made. Of course, he used the opportunity to throw shade at Belichick.

“Josh Allen stunk it up, again and again and again and again. He was handed opportunity after opportunity after opportunity and could not cash,” Bayless said. “That’s what happened last night. The ‘genius’ got away with an outrageous game plan of just trying to run it — because Buffalo’s not that bad against the run.”

The Patriots had several bright stars on the field and Damien Harris was the brightest of them all. Yes, the same goes to veteran kicker Nick Folk. Rhamondre Stevenson had another great performance as well.

Allen didn’t do any of this. Bayless criticized his performance. The lack of it, to be more precise.

The Patriots are having their bye week and players will get enough time to rest and prepare for the final countdown. They have a few more games on the list. New England has a 9-4 record at this point of the regular season and things can only get better from now on.

“Every time they have a chance to make plays, he doesn’t make the plays,” Bayless said of Allen. ” … Every time this young quarterback gets his opportunity, he comes up small.”
