Skip Bayless Rips Mac Jones For ‘Stunning’ Tom Brady-Like Move

Skip Bayless has ripped Mac Jones for a stunning Tom Brady like move. The Patriots are rolling right now. They are looking like one of the best teams in the NFL right now and are being led by a rookie QB in Mac Jones. He started off the season pretty slowly but has since come out of his shell. He is playing like the offense needs him to. But it is not only the offense that is playing at a high level. The defense is currently leading the NFL in many different stat columns.

But apparently, his play on the field is not good enough for some people. Skip Bayless recently came out and blasted Mac Jones for what he saw as a Tom Brady like move.

“The audacity of what Mac Jones just did in the middle of his rookie campaign in New England is just stunning to me,” Bayless said on FS1’s “Undisputed.” “He has now exposed himself as not that quiet, humble kid from Alabama via Jacksonville. No, he’s Baker Mayfield. He might be beyond Baker Mayfield. That’s who he is.

“The audacity and the bad idea of this. Let’s start with the initials: Those two initials should be retired from all time. Nobody can ever use those initials because there was only one ‘MJ,’ as in Michael Jordan.”

Bayless has been kind to the rookie so far this season. But this rubbed him the wrong way apparently and he let the world know about it. He continued.

“You’ve got to come up with something else,” Bayless argued. “And then the audacity to follow in the footsteps of the GOAT before you (Tom Brady), because he was ‘TB12,’ and that was his trademark, that was his calling card. ‘I’m TB12.’ He coined that. So now this kid’s gonna be ‘MJ10?’ “

His words aren’t necessarily wrong it is just interesting to see him get fired up so much about what a rookie decides to do. What do you think about what Skip Bayless had to say?
