Teddy Bruschi Gives Brutally Honest take on Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers

Jimmy Garoppolo was able to keep his position with the San Francisco 49ers but his future with the team is not that bright. Some NFL fans thought that Garoppolo would go back to the New England Patriots, because yes, they had a big void at quarterback. Well, head coach Bill Belichick brought Cam Newton back and also drafted a rookie. I guess the legendary coach knew what he was doing because Garoppolo struggles to make an impact. Former Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi agrees on this Jimmy Garoppolo take.

If Niners have doubts, they should give up on the veteran. Bruschi voiced his concern about Garoppolo and a few analysts share the same opinion. It’s hard to ignore a bad performance, especially when it comes to someone like Garoppolo.

Tedy Bruschi slams Jimmy Garoppolo for a reason

Bruschi is convinced that San Francisco has a roster packed with talent. Garoppolo is the only problem. These comments won’t sit well with Garoppolo’s fans. Well, they can’t ignore the fact that the 28-year-old struggles on the field.

There’s more. Bruschi said the Niners did a really good job to trade for Trey Lance.

“I just see an error repeator. Over the years, seeing Jimmy [Garoppolo] do the same thing over and over again… I mean this is basic football,” he said.

Garoppolo may soon lose his job as a starter. Bruschi’s report won’t be of any help at all. His word will get to the Niners and maybe they will consider giving Lance a chance. In the game against the Seattle Seahawks, Garoppolo did two interceptions. In the last two games, Garoppolo had three touchdowns and three interceptions. San Francisco deserves better than this. Let’s just say a lot of people are unhappy with Garoppolo’s performance on the field.

Lance deserves a chance and the Niners will give him one. They have a 6-6 record at this point of the regular season.

NFL teams are getting ready for the final stretch of the 2021 NFL season. San Francisco will probably miss the chance to make the playoffs and even win the Super Bowl.
