This Wild Stat Sums Up N’Keal Harry Rough Patriots Stint

The New England Patriots brought a lot of valuable players in the last few years. Well, this wild stats shows that wide receiver N’Keal Harry may not be one of them.

It’s interesting to note that head coach Bill Belichick selected Harry in the first round of the NFL Draft. He was supposed to be the top target for former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Well, Brady and Harry didn’t really connect on the field. It was awful. Harry didn’t have a good start of his tenure with the Patriots. He struggled with injuries and terrible performance.

It’s not like he didn’t have enough time to fit in. He had more time than many players on the current roster. He didn’t use it. NFL analysts had great expectations from the wide receiver. Harry didn’t meet any of it.

Wild stat goes against N’Keal Harry

Harry’s struggled became even more evident in the game against the Buffalo Bills. Fans got really frustrated when he dropped two balls from rookie quarterback Mac Jones.

His stats are really bad. Tucker Boynton from NFL Index reported that 47% of Harry’s 98 career target led to an interception, fumble, or incompletion. It’s terrible…

The Patriots used Harry as a blocker and he is doing a good job with this role. However, his receiving hands are not that good. He was given a role as a receiver and it didn’t work. Some fans even encourage Harry to put on some weight and become an offensive linebacker. That may not be a bad idea after all.

Let’s not forget that Harry requested a trade through his agent. He wanted out of the team, but changed his mind in training camp. A lot of people thought that Harry found his groove with the team. These struggles show the opposite. These two drops may put an end to his stint with the Patriots. Belichick doesn’t like when his players make too many mistakes. He will definitely have a good talk with Harry. The wide receiver should improve, otherwise he will have to find a home somewhere else.
