Update on Damien Harris Status For Divisional Clash Against Bills Emerges

The New England Patriots listed eight players as questionable in the final injury report heading into the game vs Buffalo Bills. Rhamondre Stevenson and Nelson Agholor won’t be playing in the game as they still recover from their conditions. Kendrick Bourne cleared his COVID protocol and he is back in the game. What about the star running back? The Patriots have provided an update on Damien Harris and his status for the game against Bills players.

Ian Rapoport from NFL Network reported that Harris “should be good to go” for the AFC East game.

This is more than good news for the team. Most players on the injury report are expected to suit up for the game. Having Harris back in the fold is more than good news for Patriots fans.

Damien Harris fans are not worried about his status vs BIlls

The star running back leads the team in carries (164), rushing yards (754), and touchdowns (9). Harris sustained an injury in the first game against the Bills and missed significant time. The veteran left the field in the second quarter, but returned in the early third. He wasn’t supposed to back as he came up limping after a 22-yarder. Harris didn’t suit up for the loss vs Indianapolis Colts. Well, he is ready to win this time.

The Patriots will get the much needed boost. Stevenson is already out and the team has already moved him to the COVID list on Friday. Harris is joining the team at the right time.

Brandon Bolden was questionable for the game due to his knee issue. J.J. Taylor returned off the COVID list earlier this week. In other words, Harris’ return is of great help for the team right now.

The Patriots didn’t elevate running back Devine Ozigbo from the practice unit. It’s time for Harris to shine again. New England put an end to the seven-game winning streak with the loss to the Colts. It was an unexpected loss and yes, it sure motivates players to do better this time. There are a few games left on their schedule.
