Watch: LeBron James Trades Lakers Star in Hilarious Video

Some would agree that LeBron James is the perfect general manager for any NBA team, and now he trades a Lakers star for the win. You read it right. Is it Russell Westbrook?

LeBron and Anthony Davis won’t leave the Lakers and they both have good deals. Westbrook is the only tradable star on the roster, but he shot 4-of-20 from the field in the Christmas Day loss to the Brooklyn Nets. Broddie finished the night with a triple-double, but he has his own struggles.

LeBron would never leave Westbrook on the thin ice.

“As far as the effort piece, if a guy plays hard, if a guy leaves it all out on the floor, I got no problem with that,” LeBron defended his teammate.

LeBron trades Lakers star and fans go crazy

Let’s go all the way back to 2019. An NBA fan shared a video from the 2019 All-Star Draft and this particular video added fuel to the fire. Is Westbrook leaving the Lakers?

In this video, LeBron and Antetokounmpo make their picks and discuss potential trades. The four-time NBA champion really wanted to do things his way.

“I would love to see Russ and [Joel] Embiid be teammates because we know how much they get along,” LeBron said. “I’m proposing a Russell Westbrook for Ben Simmons trade.”

Fans went crazy. The comments section was filled with the most outrageous responses.

“God I hope,” wrote one fan. “That’d be a 3 headed monster for ya. Simmons Bron AD coming down the floor at you.”

Simmons is better than literally everything than Westbrook besides shooting ARGUABLY,” another added. “I’ll take Ben over terrible Russ nights over and over. He doesn’t need to shoot. Besides, I bet he’s worked on/improved shooting.”

Shams Charania reported that the Lakers have already shown interest in Simmons. Well, his team won’t let go of him that easily. Rob Pelinka doesn’t even think of trading LeBron or Davis to get Simmons. In other words, there’s zero chance for Simmons to join the Lakers.

So, who is the first player to leave/join the Lakers?
