Watch: Patriots Media Receives Apology From Bill Belichick

The New England Patriots are coming off of a bad loss to the Indianapolis Colts. It was really frustrating and everyone was really upset, including the head coach. He was not in the mood of talking about anything related to the game. Well, Patriots media got an apology from Bill Belichick.

Belichick shocked everyone in his video conference. He apologized to reporters for the short postgame media availability on Saturday.

“I apologize if it seemed like I was a little short with you after the game … it’s not your fault,” said Belichick.

The Patriots lost the game to the Colts and it was hard for everyone to handle the pressure.

“There was no simple answer,” Belichick said. “Every play could have been better, every area of coaching could have been better, every area of playing could have been better.”

Mac Jones didn’t have the best performance but he is just a rookie. That’s what his teammates said following the game.

“He’s still young,” said tight end Hunter Henry following the game . “I think people forget he’s a rookie.”

This loss will motivate Patriots players to do something great with their game. They will play against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

“We just had a bad day,” said Jamie Collins. “We had a bad day and those guys took advantage of us. They came out on top, they were the better team, they won the game and that’s the end of that.”

Collins joined the team for a third stint and he really wants to accomplish more on the field.

“Coming off that performance we just have some things we need to work on as far as just getting ourselves back together, getting back on pace and just playing New England football, playing Patriot football,” Collins continued.

Lawrence Guy agrees with Collins. We have at least one good reason to believe that Patriots players will agree with Collins and Guy.

“You’ve got to understand what’s left,” said Guy. “We’ve got three games left and everybody’s going to play those three games like it’s the last game of the season. We all understand that. We’ve got to come in here and practice hard, we’ve got to compete every single day. The last two games are all about grit.”
