Anthony Davis Set to Return For Lakers after MCL Injury

Anthony Davis will be able to return to game action really soon. The Los Angeles Lakers really need his presence on the basketball court. Davis has a key role with the Lakers and yes, he has to come back before it’s too late.

The Lakers big man sustained his injury in December and missed a big chunk of the first half of the regular season. His MRI returned negative and team doctors allowed him to have contact workout. Davis was upgraded to questionable but he didn’t join his teammates in the game against the Miami Heat.

LA is set to meet other opponents, and the Brooklyn Nets are next on their list. The best part about this? The team upgraded Davis to probable for Tuesday’s game. That’s more than good news for all the fans out there.

Anthony Davis to return right on time

Davis’ MCL sprain had a huge impact on Frank Vogel’s gameplan. However, the big man used his time off to work on his shot mechanics. Davis’ improvement will be of big help for the team. He is their superstar, remember?

The Lakers have a 23-24 record at this point of the regular season. The team was plagued with injuries and COVID cases. LeBron James missed a lot of games due to his injury. Coach Vogel got COVID and had to isolate himself from his team and the family, of course.

Davis will see game action at the right time. The timing is right!

The Lakers have considered making some changes. Trading for a new player seems like a reasonable option. They may give up on this plan once Davis returns. The front office can trade Talen Horton-Tucker and Kendrick Nunn. Trevor Ariza, Russell Westbrook… They all make sense except for Broddie. He is set to earn a lot of money next season if he opts in. There’s a rumor suggesting that he may join the Houston Rockets. It’s a good move, right? Westbrook was also linked to a rumor related to the Los Angeles Clippers, but this trade deal won’t happen. The Clippers won’t make things easy for their city rivals.
