Bill Belichick Has Brutally Honest Admission On Personal Record

The New England Patriots defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was a wonderful 50-10 win for the team. Several Patriots players made history yesterday, including rookie quarterback Mac Jones. JC Jackson did the same. Sunday was a big day for both players. Oh wait… Head coach bill Belichick surprised everyone with his personal record as well.

Sunday’s win was the 10th win for the Patriots for the 2021 NFL season. It was a special night for coach B as he tied late Don Shula for the most 10-win seasons in his brilliant career.

Bill Belichick credits players for his personal record

It’s an excellent achievement for the legendary head coach, but Belichick is a man of a few words and he never takes credit for the success of his team. That’s exactly what Belichick said following the win. He sure admits that this is a wonderful accomplishment, but decided to praise his players. If you ask coach B, he will say that players are actually winning games. They are losing games, too. Just kidding. Let’s focus on the winning part.

“It’s flattering, but it’s really the players. Players win games,” he said. Absolutely.

Belichick has a really good chance to add a few more 10-win seasons. He has a chance to pass Shula who recorded 20 10-plus-win seasons during his time in the NFL.

The Patriots head coach did a little better than Shula. He accomplished this feat in 27 seasons. It took 33 years for Shula to record 20 seasons.

Belichick is on a good way to pass Shula on the all-time regular season wins list. His team has to win 30 games. What do we think about this? The current Patriots roster can do this and much more. Jones and his teammates had a seven-game winning streak. Players rely on excellent chemistry and this has helped them win a lot of games. New England has one game left on the schedule and they really need to beat the Miami Dolphins. Belichick and his players are close to the playoffs this season. They are winners.
