Damien Harris Can Make Patriots History In Game Against Jaguars

The New England Patriots have a valuable player on their roster. Oh wait… They have a lot of valuable players on the roster. Let’s not forget that these guys are led by a rookie. The same guys won seven straight games. We can’t underestimate that, right? Damien Harris is one of the brightest stars on Bill Belichick’s roster and he is definitely making Patriots history. The talented player makes history and hits milestones every time he hits the field.

The Patriots are playing against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. This game is really important for Harris. The talented player has eclipsed over 100 rushing yards in his last two games. Mike Reiss from ESPN reported that if Harris goes over 100 yards tonight, he will be the first Patriots running back to go for at least 100 yards in three straight games since 2004. Corey Dillion did this in the 2004 NFL season and Harris has a chance to do even better.

Damien Harris to make Patriots history with great performance

LeGarrette Blount has the franchise record for rushing touchdowns in one season. Will Harris match Blount’s 18 rushing TDs? The third-year pro is doing magic on the field. We can see him accomplish a lot of great things with the team.

Harris made history in Week 16 as well. The Patriots were down 26-14, and Harris made his way into the end zone for a score. He became the fourth Patriots player since 1970 with 5+ 100-yard rushing games. This particular drive ended with a 10-play, 75-yard drive, and Harris got his third rushing touchdown in the game.

Harris saw limited activity in Thursday’s practice as he deals with hamstring issue. The Patriots can’t lose Harris at this point. He earned words of praise from Belichick and other Patriots coaches. He is doing his job really well and his presence has helped the team win a lot of games. The back has built great chemistry with his Patriots teammates. This chemistry will lead the team to great success in the future. A Super Bowl win maybe?
