ESPN Makes Bold Prediction For Patriots Dolphins Week 18 Game

The New England Patriots will meet the Miami Dolphins in Week 18. It’s a big game for head coach Bill Belichick and his players. New England has a 10-6 record at this point of the regular season and players have to finish the season with a win. They have already played against the Dolphins and we all know what happened during the game.

ESPN had a prediction for the Patriots’ road game… The prediction revolves around two Crimson Tide players.

“Patriots rookie defensive tackle Christian Barmore is finally going to do something he always wanted to in college at Alabama but never could: sack Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, his former college teammate,” Mike Reiss wrote. “The Patriots second-round pick has been creating disruption as an interior pass-rusher and has grown considerably from the season opener against Miami when he played 26 snaps and registered just one assisted tackle. Barmore’s interior pressure will be critical in the Patriots’ potential push in the playoffs.”

Patriots rookie to beat the Dolphins in Week 18

Barmore will definitely have a key role in the AFC East showdown. He was really efficient against Trevor Lawrence which makes us believe that he will do it again this week. Lawrence was the top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft but he is having a terrible rookie campaign with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Barmore will have to repeat the same performance against Tagovailoa.

Belichick has a group of really good players led by rookie quarterback Mac Jones. He will be without Kyle Dugger and Dont’a Hightower. Playing without these two will be a big blow for the Patriots, but they have enough talent to win the game. Nine players were listed as questionable for the game, but Hightower was downgraded to out.

New England is coming off of a good win. They beat the Jaguars and it was a wonderful 50-10 win. Let’s see what happens today. Jones has an excellent chemistry with his teammates and he was spectacular last Sunday. We do want to see the same performance against the Dolphins. The same goes to Damien Harris, Nelson Agholor, and the rest of the guys.
