Frank Vogel Shares LeBron James Knee Injury Update

The situation seems to be getting out of control again… The Los Angeles Lakers deal with another major problem at the moment. LeBron James suffered a knee injury and will probably miss some time. He has already missed two games. One thing stands for sure. The Lakers cannot catch a break when it comes to serious injuries. Anthony Davis missed a big chunk of the season due to his MCL strain. LeBron missed time, too. He is injured again.

The Lakers reported that LeBron will stay on the sideline for his the third straight game. Davis is in, LeBron is out. The four-time NBA champion will miss the game against the Atlanta Hawks. He didn’t even travel with the team for the game.

LeBron James to recover from his knee injury

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said that LeBron had his MRI, adding that there’s a general swelling in his knee. The king of basketball will begin his treatment and will miss games “as long as the swelling is there.”

“As long as the swelling is there, he is going to be out,” Vogel said Sunday.

The Lakers have reached the end of their six-game road trip. Players will return to LA for their games against the Portland Trail Blazers, New York Knicks, and Los Angeles Clippers.

LeBron has missed 13 games due to his abdominal strain. However, these injuries haven’t stopped him at all. He is as dominant as ever and his team has won each and every game thanks to his skills and incredible basketball intelligence. Yes, the Lakers have a 24-26 record at this point of the regular season, but LeBron is not responsible for all those injuries on the floor.

King James is averaging 29.1 points, 6.3 assists, and 7.7 rebounds per game while shooting 52.2% from the floor, 35.2% from beyond the arc, and 75.9% from the free-throw line. These numbers say pretty much everything you need to know about his great game.

LeBron may be 37, but his style is impeccable. Hopefully, his teammates will be able to stay healthy in the final third of the season.
