JC Jackson Intercepts Trevor Lawrence To Make Patriots, NFL History

The New England Patriots beat the Jacksonville Jaguars and it was a beautiful 50-10 win. I guess Patriots players were determined to make history during the game. Rookie quarterback Mac Jones is the only Patriots rookie to throw 20 passes in the first season with the team. Impressive, right? JC Jackson did the same. Great JC Jackson intercepts rookie Trevor Lawrence for the win. It’s interesting to note that Lawrence was the top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. His team entered Sunday’s game with a 2-13 record.

Jackson is one of the key players on Bill Belichick’s roster. He is having an incredible season with the team. In the win over the Jaguars, Jackson had his eight interception of the season and the 25^th of his career. Raymond Clayborn and Ty Law have 36 interceptions each, meaning Jackson will have to keep performing at a high level to match their success. If you are into numbers, Jackson is tied with Lester Hayes and Everson Walls for the most pickups in the first five seasons in the NFL career.
