Julian Edelman Claps Back At Ray Lewis Over Patriots-Bucs Super Bowl Jab

Julian Edelman didn’t like any of the comments Ray Lewis made regarding the New England Patriots and their chances to make the Super Bowl. Rewis wasn’t too confident about Edelman’s bet and he made a big claim. The Hall of Famer took to Twitter to share his opinion on Edelman’s monster bet.

“I’m gonna call him right now,” Lewis jokes in his video. “I need to pray for him. Me and him got to go do some therapy.”

Pray for Edelman? Why? The 2018 Super Bowl MVP may be out of the game, but he sure knows a few things about the New England Patriots and Tom Brady. The former wideout took to his Twitter account to deliver a response. Let’s just say Lewis was asking for it.

“How much are you putting on a Ravens Super Bowl? @raylewis,” Edelman tweeted.

Julian Edelman teaches Ray Lewis a lesson

Edelman didn’t like the jab. He doesn’t like when others play games. Jules was serious about his bet. He knows what he is doing. He knows what Bill Belichick is capable of. Oh, yes, he also knows how powerful Tom Brady is. One thing stands for sure. Baltimore Ravens fans won’t like his response.

Guess what… Edelman doesn’t care. He placed $50,000 bets on the Patriots and Buccaneers to make the Super Bowl. If the Patriots make it, Edelman will get $375,000. If Brady’s team makes it, Edelman will earn $170,000. Here’s the catch. If Belichick and Brady meet at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Edelman will earn $545,000. Impressive, huh?

The wideout made this bet after getting $100,000 for promotional work. He even shared a video of his parents’ reaction. We saw this coming. He saw it coming, too.

Well, Edelman spent his entire career working with Belichick and Brady. They won a lot of games together. Edelman placed that bet for a reason. We can’t wait to see what happens in a few weeks. Belichick trusts his players and Brady is having a really good season with the Buccaneers. A Super Bowl game between these two? You don’t want to miss that.
