LeBron James Leaves Team After Concerning MRI

The Los Angeles Lakers are dealing with a huge problem right now. LeBron James had his MRI and the situation doesn’t look good at all. The four-time NBA champion returned back to Los Angeles due to his knee injury.

Head coach Frank Vogel said LeBron will miss games as long as his swelling is there.

Anthony Davis’ absence forced Frank Vogel to give LeBron a bigger role on the floor.

“I think about it every day,” Vogel said. “We’re always mindful of the load that he’s carrying, in constant communication with him and the medical team. And in terms of what we do going forward with the knee and where he’s at, it’s really a heavy lean on the medical staff and [trainer] Mike Mancias and what they feel is best. It’s really not a head-coach thing as much as it is relying on the medical team.”

LeBron would never accept a smaller load even at this age.

“I don’t play the game thinking about injuries,” LeBron said. “And I also feel worse when I play low minutes.”

Things don’t look too good right now and Lakers players have to work on their chemistry. Finding a good rhythm is a priority right now.

“I thought the last two games we played really well, we just fell short,” Vogel said after the loss to the Hawks. “We always feel like we have enough even [when] Bron — or in Charlotte, Bron and AD — are out. Yes, we showed we have enough to be right there at the end. We just need to make a couple more plays to get these W’s. Could have easily won these last two games, we’ve just got to make a few more plays.”

The Lakers have a few challenges to overcome right now. Russell Westbrook has to find a solution to his inconsistency. He goes from a struggling rookie-like style to a superstar-like attitude. Let’s hope things take better turn for the team. Staying healthy is a priority right now. We all hope for the best. LA has to do best.
