LeBron James Points Out Silver Lining Despite Disappointing Loss to Memphis Grizzlies

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a big loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. NBA analysts thought that the Lakers are done losing games but things didn’t go the way Frank Vogel and his players planned. LA lost a game and fans really hope that the team will elevate their game. What does LeBron James think of the loss to the Grizzlies?

The four-time NBA champion said it’s “been a lot clearer how we want to play basketball over the last few weeks.” He said pretty much the same a few days ago. The Lakers were in the middle of a winning streak. When asked about it, LeBron said it was just because his teammates were getting back.

Lakers players sustained too many injuries and significant time on the floor. LeBron missed time, too. Anthony Davis is still out. Players were in and out due to COVID. Head coach Frank Vogel was out as well and David Fizdale had to step in as a replacement. The team lost many games during this stretch.

LeBron was brilliant though.

LeBron James got the best of the loss to the Grizzlies

In the game against the Grizzlies, LeBron went 14-of-19 from the field and scored 35 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. He went to 10th on the all-time steals list in the previous game, and he made history once again. LeBron passed Oscar Robertson for 7th on the NBA all-time assists list. As you all know, LeBron has 9,888 assists.

LeBron is making his case to be named All-Star team captain. He scored 26-plus points in 11 straight games. Let’s not forget that he is 37. LeBron is playing his best basketball and his elite performance will help the Lakers win more games in the regular season.

When it comes to other Lakers players, Austin Reaves and Wayne Ellington did a decent job. They scored 16 points each, and Talen Horton-Tucker finished the game with 13 points on 50 percent shooting from the field and from the three-point line.

LA was good in the first quarter, but the Grizzlies got the best of the game in the second and third quarter.
