Patriots WR Made $500,000 During Win Over Jaguars

The New England Patriots are coming off of a good win over the Jacksonville Jaguars and some players got really lucky during the game. Kendrick Bourne earned $500,000 during the 50-10 win. I guess head coach Bill Belichick knew what he was doing when he signed Bourne to a three-year deal. The talented player was given a key role with the Patriots.

Nicole Yang from the Boston Globe reported that Bourne earned two contract incentives during the game. He had 5 receptions for 76 yards and he was finally able to hit the 50 reception and 700 receiving yards mark. If he gets 8 more receptions, Bourne will receive another $250,000 incentive payment. He also needs another 24 yards to get an extra $250,000.

“Yeah KB’s been really productive for us,” said head coach Belichick on WEEI’s The Greg Hill Show. “He does have a high level of energy everyday, whether it’s practice or [when] you guys see it on Sunday, but we see it everyday in practice. He’s great guy to have on the team, has a great attitude. Really works hard to do his job and help others by blocking or sometimes just clearing out on a route, something like that. Glad we have him and he’s really stepped up for us.”

The Patriots win over Jaguars made Bill Belichick happy

We all know that Belichick is a fan. He really likes Bourne. Moreover, he laughs at his jokes. We all saw the cute moment at the sideline during the game vs Jaguars. Belichick was standing next to rookie quarterback Mac Jones, Bourne, and Damien Harris, and he was in a really good mood. He respects great players and Bourne is one of them. Even Patriots players know that Belichick has a soft spot for the talented player.

New England has a big game on the schedule. They really have to finish the season with a win. Sunday is a big day for the Patriots nation and analysts have high expectations from the team. Let’s see what happens tomorrow. New England will be without Kyle Dugger and this shouldn’t be a big problem for the team.
