ESPN aired a 30 for 30 on the Tuck Rule game the New England Patriots played against the Oakland Raiders. New England won the AFC Divisional Playoff game. This game made the Tuck Rule famous. Charles Woodson stripped former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady during the game, but the fumble was referred to an incomplete pass. What happened during the game?

On the 30 for 30, head coach Belichick talked about the rule. He is the best head coach in the NFL and he knows each and every rule out there.

The documentary goes through the 2002 playoff game and of course, it opened old sores. Brady talked about the tuck rule, too. According to the former Patriots quarterback, this rule saved his job as a starter with the team. He knew that the Patriots had to win this game. He knew that he’d lose the starting if his team finishes the game with a loss.
