Former Patriots Player Claims Robert Kraft Had ‘Tantrum’ Over Tom Brady Post

Robert Kraft appreciated everything Tom Brady did in the last two decades. The seven-time Super Bowl champion played his best game in New England and helped the New England Patriots win a lot of games. It was a wild ride and the quarterback decided to put an end to it. Yes, he had to retire at some point. There was growing number of reports about his eventual retirement. Brady waited for a few days before he confirmed the rumors.

The quarterback took to his Instagram to share a photo of him and a lengthy message. In his message, Brady thanked the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He thanked his coach, Bucs players, and his teammates. Yes, Brady made a lot of friends in Tampa Bay. The quarterback thanked his wife Gisele and the kids for their incredible support. The New England Patriots? Not even a mention. Brady didn’t mention head coach Bill Belichick at all. They won six Super Bowls together. The same goes to Robert Kraft. The Patriots owner really likes Brady, but the quarterback didn’t thank him. What about his Patriots teammates? Fans?

Robert Kraft gets mad after Tom Brady situation

Former Patriots linebacker Ted Johnson offered an insight into Kraft’s reaction.

“I was told earlier tonight that … it was an unpleasant day today at the executive offices in Foxboro and that Robert Kraft initially when he first heard the news was very upset,” Johnson said during Tuesday’s “Boston Sports Tonight” episode on NBC Sports Boston. “He was screaming and he was yelling and there was … a temper tantrum that he threw after he read this IG post. So, he was not happy about it in Foxboro, and I’m not surprised.”

We can definitely understand this. Brady was part of the Patriots for two decades. Why does he act like they don’t exist? A lot of Patriots fans shared the same sentiment. How could Brady “forget” the Patriots? How can he pay more attention to the team that had him for only two seasons? I guess Brady had his own reasons to do this.
