Julian Edelman Supports Mark Wahlberg Playing Bill Belichick In Tom Brady Biopic

Tom Brady retired after 22 years in the NFL. He is retiring as the best quarterback the league has ever had. Brady retired at 44 and a lot of people would agree that he could offer a few more great seasons. Well, the former New England Patriots quarterback had different plans for his career. We have people saying that he should return go to Foxboro and finish his career as a Patriot. There are also people waiting for his feature film. We can’t make a decision on the lead role, but we know that Julian Edelman would love to see Mark Wahlberg play Bill Belichick.

Julian Edelman wants to see Mark Wahlberg in Tom Brady’s movie

In his interview with Variety, the actor promoted his film “Uncharted.” Will he ever accept a role in Brady’s hypothetical biopic? Wahlberg is one of the greatest fans Brady will ever have. He is also a Patriot fan. If you ask Wahlberg, he will say he is a little too old to play the GOAT. Brady, on the other hand, would pick Wahlberg to play him in a movie.

“I could play Bill Belichick! Oh, I would love to play Bill Belichick,” Wahlberg told Variety’s Mark Malkin. “The next five interviews that I do I’m gonna be like Bill Belichick. ‘On to Cincinnati,’ a yes or no answer — I?m gonna annoy a lot of people.”

Edelman really got into this. He would love to see this project hit screens.

“Have your people call my people,” the 2018 Super Bowl MVP tweeted.

There’s a catch. Wahlberg would gladly see Brady re-sign with the Patriots instead of setting up the production.

“I’m going to get him a one-way ticket back to New England,” Wahlberg said. “Maybe he could play one more year.

“Could you believe he went 22 years, won seven championships, and people just assumed that he would go for another five years? That’s the amazing thing. He really did something that nobody else did. I certainly appreciate everything he did. And I know everybody else in New England and in Tampa? I mean, he changed the face of New England football, Tampa and the NFL as a whole. I just wish him good luck in everything else that he decides to do.”

That would be an ideal scenario. However, we have a few good reasons to believe that Brady has made up his mind. His game is elite, but his family is more important. Brady made the right decision for him and his loved ones.
