He didn’t say much though. As usual. LeBron has been really quiet this season. He doesn’t talk too much about the struggles his teammates have. He never calls out anyone who fails to perform. That’s exactly what happened when LeBron was asked about the trade deadline.

What does it mean?

The Lakers traded three players to get Russell Westbrook. They got rid of Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Broddie joined the team at the right time. Was it the right fit? I don’t think so. Several NBA veterans joined the franchise at the same time. The Lakers entered the regular season as top contenders, but we all know what happened in the last few months.

There are so many rumors linking Westbrook to the Houston Rockets or even the Los Angeles Clippers. Pelinka did say that the team won’t trade Westbrook at this point. He joined the Lakers a few months ago. His trade won’t make things easier for anyone. His struggles may affect his value on the trade market, and let’s be honest, his deal is just too much.

Westbrook is set to earn a lot of money and his deal is a major obstacle for most teams.
