Michele Tafoya Reveals Annual Act Of Kindness By Bill Belichick

Bill Belichick knows how to make people laugh. Sort of. NFL sideline reporter Michele Tafoya talked about one particular act of kindness of Belichick and it will definitely put a big smile on your face.

Tafoya appeared on the “Sports Media with Richard Deitsch” podcast to talk about several topics, including Belichick’s personality.

“I got a Christmas card from him this year. I have every year,” Tafoya said. “Do feel like there’s a relationship there. It’s just, there have been some really fun great moments, and just some that have been more challenging. And I’m going to take some responsibility for that, asking bad questions.”

An act of kindness from Belichick?

Well, we know that Belichick is a cool guy who knows his job. He is the best head coach in the NFL. However, he is not the most cheerful guy to work with. Tafoya knows it best. Belichick is not someone who jokes around making people laugh.

“You’re walking in knowing that it’s not going to be necessarily fun,” Tafoya said. “Some of that is on me. If I asked a question that was not a good question, he would let me know. Over the course of time, I tried to learn how to present questions to him in a way that was more intelligent. Look, I’ve been at this for a long time, so there was always room for growth and improvement with me. Always still is. It was always a little bit of a pit in the stomach.”

Tafoya will now “be the co-chair of a political campaign for businessman and Army veteran Kendall Qualls, who announced in January that he is running as a Republican candidate for governor in Minnesota.” In other words, she doesn’t have to plan her interviews with Belichick. Other reporters will take their chances with the Patriots head coach.

Belichick has his way of doing things and he will never change it. That’s what makes him so special, right? The 2021 NFL season wasn’t his best, but hey, his players did a decent job. Let’s hope they do better in 2022.
