NFL Insider Believes Trent Brown Should Join This Team In Free Agency

Trent Brown was brilliant with the New England Patriots but NFL insider Jeremy Fowler believes that he will go somewhere else in free agency. Head coach Bill Belichick respects great players and Brown definitely earned his praise. Brown is entering free agency and he is free to choose whatever works best for his career. He has talent and skills to do that and much more. Brown has an option to get a nice deal. Will he go after big cash? According to the Worldwide Leader, Brown is better than JC Jackson. They even suggested that Brown is the best free agent on Belichick’s list of free agents.

Trent Brown to make a good decision in free agency

Fowler discussed Brown’s situation in New England. He discussed the best free agents at the moment. There’s more. Fowler sees Brown as a player with the Baltimore Ravens.

“Baltimore is in transition at tackle with Alejandro Villanueva (a 2023 free agent) turning 34 in September and Ronnie Stanley missing most of the past two seasons with a severe ankle injury,” Fowler wrote. “Quarterback Lamar Jackson would have fun running behind this mammoth man.”

Matt Bowen couldn’t agree more. He detailed Brown’s potential role with the Ravens. Bowen is convinced that Brown could be of great help for Greg Roman’s offense.

“In the Ravens’ gap-heavy run system, Brown is an easy fit given the power he displays at the point of the attack and the light feet we see on the tape,” Bowen detailed. “Pull, he can block down and move people. He’s an upgrade in Greg Roman’s offensive structure.”

The only problem comes when you realize that Brown sustained a lot of injuries in the past. He saw action in just 14 games in the last couple of seasons. This may affect his value on the open market. Injury-prone players don’t get a lot of money in free agency.

Let’s see what happens later in the offseason. Belichick may lose valuable players but hey, he can always add a few amazing options. Losing Brown would be a big blow for the team in so many aspects.
