Russell Westbrook NSFW Response to Boos From Lakers Fans

The Los Angeles Lakers are not in a good position at the moment, and Russell Westbrook feels worse than any other player on Frank Vogel’s roster because he has to give a response to boos. I mean, most of the guys don’t get booed at when they take the court.

The Lakers traded a good chunk of their roster to get Westbrook. He was set to be the third player behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Well, things fell apart right after Westbrook joined the Lakers. He is one of the most competitive players in the league, but he doesn’t seem to be a good fit for the Lakers. His struggles are too obvious and fans are calling for the front office to trade him. Rob Pelinka didn’t want to make a move at the trade deadline. It’s not like he had tons of offers for Broddie. The Houston Rockets were the only team to show interest in the veteran. They tried to ship John Wall to LA and get Westbrook and a first-rounder. It was a big “no” for the Lakers.

Russell Westbrook will always provide the same response to boos

Westbrook is still a Laker. His situation hasn’t changed at all. Now he is getting boos from Lakers fans. Does it get any worse than this?

If you as Broddie, he will say that nothing bothers him. He will probably stick to the same mindset.

“Nah. Take it home? For what? Sh*t. Take it home? I got three beautiful kids at my house. Why would I take it home? If they boo, they can take their a** home. I ain’t worried about that. It doesn’t bother me none. … I can only answer if I take them home: no. But as for our team, I don’t think it’s something we got to deal with. And kind of move forward.”

Is this the right mindset? I don’t know. Maybe this is just his defensive system. Boos can easily mess up with players’ head. Fans keep trying to get inside. Westbrook won’t let them test him.
