According to the Patriots head coach, Slater is just like Tom Brady. The former Patriots quarterback led the offense throughout the years, giving the team six trophies. Slater did the same to special teams.

Well, he said it right. Slater is one of the better players on the roster and he has earned another deal with the team. He will be super busy in 2022, working with a bunch of new players. The Patriots have made some wild moves in the offseason and Belichick will make even more.

Slater is the team captain every NFL team needs and Belichick is more than happy to have him around. The veteran is not a popular guy and he is not making headlines throughout the offseason. He is all business and the Patriots got the best of his game.
