Former Odell Beckham Jr. Teammate Wants Wideout To Join Patriots

Odell Beckham Jr. is a free agent again and his former teammate wants him to join Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. Oh, we have already heard this one before, right? Odell to the Patriots? Why not… This is an old story.

The Patriots showed great interest in getting Beckham Jr. when he was part of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Many thought that he’d sign with the Patriots. Beckham Jr. wasn’t happy in Cleveland and he wanted out. It was a good move and the star wideout joined the Los Angeles Rams. Oh, yes, he won a ring. The Browns made a terrible mistake. Letting Beckham Jr. go was a big mistake. They lost a valuable player and the Rams got the best of his talent.

Odell Beckham Jr. motivated by former teammate, should consider joining the Patriots

Here we go again. Beckham is available again and people want him to sign with the Patriots. Mack Wilson is one of them.

Wilson and Beckham Jr. played together in Cleveland. They know each other really well. This great connection probably motivated Wilson. He wants the wideout to sign a deal with the Patriots. Is New England the best option for the Super Bowl champion?

The Patriots need a star wideout. They need someone to take the lead and Beckham Jr. may be the best fit for the team. He could be the right player to replace Julian Edelman. The 2018 Super Bowl MVP retired, leaving the Patriots with a big hole on their receiving unit.

Patriots players have already tried to recruit Beckham. Matthew Judon made a move and the wideout got the message.

Getting Beckham Jr. won’t be that easy though. He will probably ask for a lot of money and the Patriots’ cap space is a bit tight. Things are not that bad either. Beckham Jr. tore his ACL in the Super Bowl and will miss a big chunk of the year. He may not recover completely and NFL teams have yet to make big offers.
