He wasn’t the top pick for the Patriots, but he was definitely better than them all.

Why would doubters criticize Jones? He is not responsible for the mistakes his teammates make. Yes, he had his ups and downs in 2021, but we can’t ignore his impeccable style and great performance.

Van Noy doesn’t pay attention to the criticism of Mac Jones

If you ask Kyle Van Noy, he will definitely sing a different story. The Patriots veteran appeared on “The Greg Hill Show” and talked about the criticism Jones had to deal with. Oh yes, Patriots players really support their younger teammate. Wonder why? They like him. They trust him. Jones was able to establish an excellent connection with his teammates and that’s what makes him an excellent player.

“I think that’s a little messed up,” Van Noy said. “His ability to push the naysayers to the side and just go to work is very impressive.”

The rookie is on good terms with every Patriots player. These connections have helped him perform at a higher level in the regular season.

“Those guys are friends with everybody, they love everybody, and he embodies that,” Van Noy said. “He truly is a leader.”

There you go. Jones will always enjoy the support of his teammates. Head coach Bill Belichick relies his gameplan on these connections. He wants players to get the best of their friendship and play smart on the football field.

Jones has high expectations from his offseason. He will make some changes and this includes increasing his strength. Jones loves ice cream and he will probably cut it out of his diet. It’s time to take a more serious approach.
