Lakers Rivals Have Wild Prediction for LeBron James-Anthony Davis Duo

The Los Angeles Lakers brought LeBron James to town just because they needed someone who could take the lead. Anthony Davis became a Laker for the same reason. Moreover, AD really had to win his first ring. AD and LeBron won a championship in their first year together. Someone put a spell on both superstars and they missed significant time in the following two years. Although LA struggles to make an impact in the Western Conference, Lakers rivals made a bold prediction on LeBron.

Lakers rivals can’t ignore prediction about LeBron and AD

Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report was among the first to report this. If healthy, LeBron and Davis can destroy other opponents in the playoffs. Of course, they have to make the playoffs first.

“The Lakers still hold championship aspirations this season,” Fischer wrote. “Los Angeles personnel maintain that if they can reach the playoffs, the healthy combination of LeBron James and Anthony Davis is still enough to threaten all comers for the Western Conference crown. Some rival teams have echoed that sentiment as well. If the Lakers fail to advance beyond the play-in tournament, changes within the franchise are surely on the horizon.”

Both LeBron and Davis put crazy stats on the chart. They play elite basketball and their performance has helped the team win a lot of games. Staying healthy is the only challenge LeBron and AD deal with at the moment. The big man is out due to a mid-foot strain and he will miss more time than expected. LeBron missed time this season, too. He is back now and delivers MVP performance every night. Is it enough?

No, it’s not. LeBron needs help from his teammates. Lakers players struggle with inconsistency. Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka brought a good group of veterans in the offseason, hoping that they could lead the team to the playoffs. Unfortunately, some of those additions failed to meet expectations.

Fans are pretty frustrated right now. Heckling fans call out LeBron and his teammates, and yes, it got really ugly in the loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
