LeBron James’ Tweet About Kyrie Irving Situation Is Going Viral

LeBron James triggered an avalanche with his tweet about Kyrie Irving and his vaccination status. Yes, COVID vaccination is one of the most controversial topics in the NBA at the moment. Irving is not a fan of vaccines and this put him in a rather uncomfortable situation in the league.

Cuffs The Legend pointed to one “tiny” detail about Irving’s presence during games. So, the Brooklyn Nets veteran is free to sit courtside but he is not allowed to play games?

“Kyrie being allowed to chill court side and watch Duke play and then watch his own Nets team play but not being allowed to HOOP himself is absolutely ridiculous on all levels of common sense lol,” tweeted Cuffs.

LeBron James shocks the NBA with his tweet about Kyrie Irving

LeBron and Irving didn’t have the best relationship, but the four-time NBA champion supports his former teammate.

The NBA world reacted to LeBron’s tweet. Let’s just say that there are two types of people. Some supported Irving while others blasted his decision to stay away from COVID jabs.

“Everybody forgets the mandate was not installed for Kyrie Irving or with basketball in mind,” said the New York Daily News‘ Stefan Bondy. “You can make an exception for Irving but then what do you tell the 1,430 workers NYC fired last month.”

Irving won’t to join his teammates on the floor and we have a few reasons to believe that his situation won’t change in the next period.

When it comes to LeBron, he is not too vocal about COVID jabs. NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar criticized LeBron for his decision to stay quiet during the pandemic. According to Abdul-Jabbar, LeBron should use his platform to motivate others to get the jab. LeBron is the greatest basketball player of all time and millions of people follow him on social media. I guess Abdul-Jabbar wanted him to tell people that they should get the vaccine. The NBA icon is a strong supporter of the entire vaccination process.

Will Irving play in the near future?
