Matthew Judon Has Hilarious Patriots Recruiting Pitch For Julio Jones

The New England Patriots have a few targets at the moment and head coach Bill Belichick will have to fill up some of the holes on his roster. If you ask Matthew Judon, the Patriots should get Julio Jones. He would love to see Jones put on a Patriots uniform.

Judon is in full recruit mode and Judon is his latest target. Allen Robinson, Chandler Jones, and Stephon Gilmore are definitely on his list. Jones is the next to go. The Tennessee Titans released him a couple of days ago and this added fuel to the fire. He is the right player to join the Patriots at this point of the offseason.

Matthew Judon wants Julio Jones on his roster

Judon took to Twitter to share a photo of Patriots quarterback Mac Jones. That’s a really hilarious way of recruiting players. Jones was brilliant in his rookie season with the Patriots, leading the team to a seven-game winning streak. He lacked weapons but this didn’t stop him from delivering better results than other rookie quarterbacks.

The NFL world had a really good time watching Judon recruit players. He is just trying to help the team get top players. New England has already made a few moves to change the roster. They released Kyle Van Noy and traded Chase Winovich for Mack Wilson. JC Jackson signed a deal with the Los Angeles Chargers. The Patriots made sure Matthew Slater and James White stay on their roster. Devin McCourty will be part of the 2022 roster, too.

Belichick also got cornerback Terrance Mitchell in free agency.

The Patriots don’t have too much money to work with this offseason. They can’t afford top players and Jones may try to get a good deal. He has a history of injuries and missed 14 games in the last couple of seasons. In 2021, he was able to catch just 31 passes for 434 yards and a score. Belichick won’t spend a lot of money on someone who struggles to make an impact. Truth is, Jones wasn’t at his best in 2021 and this makes things a little difficult for him.
