Matthew Judon Publicly Recruits DK Metcalf To Patriots; Seahawks Player Objects

Matthew Judon is all-in when it comes to bringing new players to his team and DK Metcalf is his most recent target. The New England Patriots don’t need a scouting squad because they have Judon doing the job. Head coach Bill Belichick will be super busy this offseason as he has to fill a few big holes on the roster. Judon has picked his targets and he may motivate the team to get some of these guys.

Will this effort give the Patriots a big advantage? Judon hasn’t brought any of his targets to New England. Maybe he will have better luck with Metcalf.

Matthew Judon recruits Metcalf, other receivers

Judon took to Twitter, obviously, to recruit the star receiver. I guess he was motivated by the fact that the Patriots haven’t found a star receiver. Metcalf would be a perfect fit for the Patriots. Let’s not forget that Judon wanted Odell Beckham Jr. too.

The Seattle Seahawks have to change their roster and NFL analysts believe that they may get rid of Metcalf. He is 24 and his game is sharp. Age is not a problem at this point. Metcalf is in the final year of his rookie contract. If the Seahawks decide to move on from him, he won’t have trouble finding a new home in the NFL. What about New England?

Judon’s tweet didn’t come as a surprise, but Quandre Diggs didn’t like any of it. He has excellent connection with Metcalf and he would never ever break this tie. Diggs responded to Judon’s tweet and yes, fans had really great time on Twitter. Their exchange was hilarious at so many levels.

The Seahawks like Metcalf and will probably do their best to keep him around. Head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider said that Metcalf would probably sign an extension. He is an exceptional player and the Seahawks wouldn’t let him go that easily. Well, Belichick has the perfect plan for his roster and he can definitely make a good offer for Metcalf.
