Russell Westbrook Gets Brutally Disrespected in Front of Lakers’ Bench
The Los Angeles Lakers suffered another loss and this time they lost a game to the Minnesota Timberwolves. It was really ugly and this loss wasn’t the worst thing that happened to Lakers players. Russell Westbrook was disrespected at one point of the game and Patrick Beverley really crossed the red line this time.
Beverley came out of his comfort zone to go after Lakers players and Westbrook was his favorite target during the night.
At one point of the game, Beverley went all the way to the Lakers bench just to call Westbrook “trash.” Did he just take their rivalry to another level? NBA fans don’t like any of this. These two never liked each other but this is definitely horrible.

Russell Westbrook wasn’t disrespected for the first time
Westbrook was playing with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2013. In one of the games against the Houston Rockets, Russ dribbled the ball to the bench to call a timeout. Beverley tried a steal and took out Westbrook’s knee. Westbrook ended up with a meniscus tear and had to undergo a few surgeries.
This sparkled a huge scandal and their rivalry made a lot of headlines. On November 13, 2019, Westbrook said. “Pat Bev trick y’all, man, like he playing defense. He don’t guard nobody, man. He just running around, doing nothing.”
Well, Beverley fired the most recent shot and trashed Westbrook. His teammate, Timberwolves Karl-Anthony Towns did the same after the Laker air-balled a 3-pointer.
Westbrook isn’t bothered with any of this. He has earned his spot in the Hall of Fame and that’s the only thing that matters.
“Nobody over there has done anything in this league that would make me pick my eyes up, like, ‘Oh, they’re talking mess. Let me respond.’ No. It’s fine. They’re good,” Westbrook said following the loss. “They won the game. Happy for them. Move onto the next one.”
Lakers players aren’t happy but they can’t do much at this point. The end is almost here. Of course, LA can do an effort and win the remaining games of their schedule.
