Wife of Lakers Star Russell Westbrook Rips Reporter on Twitter

Wife Nina stood for her husband Russell Westbrook once again. Nina heard the comments Skip Bayless made about her husband and decided to take the matter in her hands.

The whole thing started when Bayless blocker her. Well, that’s what she thought.

“I just found out that @skipbayless blocked me on Twitter… as though I’m the one constantly harassing him and calling him out of his name,” she wrote in an Instagram story. “Mr. Bayless. I’m a real person. If you’re able to use your platform to degrade my husband and constantly call him out of his name then at least be adult enough to deal with the consequences of your actions. Don’t try to erase me from your reality to make yourself feel better about your choice.

“I’m still here. There’s no need to block me. Just be respectful, and I have no reason to respond or remind you of your reckless choices. Just do better.”

Skip Bayless strikes back at the wife of Russell Westbrook

Here comes the catch. Nina found out that Bayless didn’t block her. She didn’t adjust the mistake and decided to call out Bayless. Again.

“I’m tired you @RealSkipBayless calling my husband out of his name. It is extremely childish. That is my name as well, and many other peoples name. You’re disrespectful, and I’m extremely offended by your behavior. You should apologize.”

Well, that’s when Bayless stepped in. He decided to play a little game on Twitter. Bayless claims he had never blocked anyone. Does he regret trashing her husband? Absolutely not. Moreover, Bayless promised to do the same in the future.

“Dear Mrs. Westbrook: Thank you for clarifying that I didn’t block you. I’ve never blocked anybody and never will,” Bayless wrote. “I welcome your criticism and appreciate your defending your husband. But I will continue to tell the truth as I see it.”

We all know someone who’d agree with Bayless. Westbrook struggles to fit in Frank Vogel’s roster. He is an incredible player but we can’t really say that he is a good fit for the Lakers.

Fans want Rob Pelinka to trade Westbrook. Heckling fans even told him to “go home.” It’s not like Russ paid attention to that. He tries to find his groove and get the best of his time in LA. We have a few good reasons to believe that Westbrook won’t stay around for a while.

Just like LeBron James, Westbrook won’t shut down his season. He has great plans for his future and he is more than ready to overcome each and every obstacle.
