Bill Belichick to get great players in the draft

The Patriots head coach will have a huge task. He has to find receivers and linebackers. He also needs cornerbacks. Belichick will have to make many decisions and this will be one of the most important drafts in his career. The legendary head coach won’t retire before rebuilding the Patriots roster and giving Mac Jones a good foundation.

“It keeps changing,” Belichick said of the draft. “You know, as players get picked in the first round, it keeps unfolding into Day 1 and you just reset the board for Day 2, which is rounds two and three. And then at the end of Friday night, you reset the board and so, really, it’s three separate drafts.”

“Certainly you know a lot more on Day 2 than you did on Day 1 and Day 3 on Day 2,” he continued. “Players get picked, players come off the board and you’re not working with as many names. But the process is kinda the same, you just reset the board.”

Jones was a true gem last season. He was a really good pick for the team. Many would agree that he is the real replacement for Tom Brady. Belichick has a good feeling for his quarterback, too. Let’s see if he finds another good player in the draft.
