Julian Edelman Briefly Makes Patriots Fans Panic With April Fool’s Joke

Former New England Patriots wideout Julian Edelman was the ultimate joke machine in the NFL. He sure knows how to crack a good joke and that’s exactly what happened this time. Edelman shocked the NFL with his most recent tweet. It was a photoshopped picture of him accompanied by a huge announcement. Yes, Edelman told everyone that he was coming out of his retirement to join Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

What a joke… Well, Edelman didn’t want to give people a heart attack. He was just joking. It’s April Fools and Edelman thought it was nice to have some fun. We needed something like this to boil our blood. To be honest, we really missed his “art”. Edelman used to deliver pieces of this kind throughout his entire NFL career.

Julian Edelman sparkles rumors with his joke

Jokes aside, NFL analysts have long discussed Edelman’s next move. His retirement happened at the most awkward moment ever. Yes, he had a surgery and multiple injuries. Edelman said that he would retire once his wheels come off. They did and he gave himself the much-needed rest. This didn’t stop people from speculating. Some say that he will follow Rob Gronkowski’s move. According to them, he will rest for a year and return to the field. With the Buccaneers. Hilarious, right?

Edelman said he was a Patriot for life. He spent his entire career with the team and he is a loyal member of the Patriots organization. Yes, Edelman flirted with the idea of playing with TB12 again, but he didn’t even think of leaving the Patriots. Gronk was happy to sign with the Buccaneers and he even won a ring with Brady and his new team. We have a few good reasons to believe that the 2018 Super Bowl MVP won’t follow the same rulebook. He will probably stay away from the field.

Bill Belichick praised Edelman and everything he did so far. He said that Jules is one of the most hardworking players he has ever worked with. That’s the ultimate compliment from the legendary head coach.
