Kendrick Bourne Sets Big 2022 Goal For Himself, Jakobi Meyers

The New England Patriots got a lot of valuable players in the last couple of seasons. They still have holes on the roster. Head coach Bill Belichick will enter the 2022 NFL Draft with a few targets on his table. He lost players this offseason, but most of his stars remained on the team. Kendrick Bourne is looking forward to another brilliant year and he is ready to give his best shot in 2022.

The Patriots got Bourne for a reason. He is an excellent player and his skill is exactly what the team needs. The talented player set up a huge goal for the upcoming season and he wants Jakobi Meyers to do the same. These two are expected to deliver their best performance.

Kendrick Bourne to break the record in 2022

If you ask Bourne, he will say that he and Meyers can surpass 1,000 receiving yards in their next season with the Patriots. This will be their second season together.

“1K each for me and my dog? What y’all think?” Bourne wrote. He also tagged Meyers. This post attracted the attention of many fans in the NFL. Can these two make a big impact? Of course they can!

In his first year with the Patriots, Bourne hit 800 yards for 55 catches and five touchdowns. Meyers finished the season with 866 yards for 83 catches and two touchdowns. Both players reached career-highs and this says pretty much everything you need to know about them. They are excellent players with great skills and even better experience.

Mac Jones has established excellent connection with Meyers and Bourne. They connected on so many occasions in 2022 and the Patriots were able to create a seven-game winning streak. The team had good success and everyone hopes for the best. Belichick will get a few more players in the draft and pack the roster with talent. Jones still needs a few more weapons. The Patriots traded a fifth-round pick to the Houston Texans and may trade a few more. Let’s see what happens later in the offseason. It’s a long season after all.
