LeBron James recognizes a great player every time he sees one. Stephen Curry is definitely one of the players he admires. King James has nothing but respect for the Golden State Warriors superstar despite the fact that he lost a couple of Finals to his team. Well, as you may know well, LeBron stirs the pot every time he talks about an opponent. That’s exactly what he did with his most recent comments on Curry.

“Steph Curry is the one I want to play with, for sure, in today’s game,” LeBron said on The Shop.

The Los Angeles Lakers are having a terrible season and fans started talking about LeBron’s potential departure from LA. Teaming up with Curry? That would be a match made in heaven. LeBron has had the opportunity to be on the same team as Curry. They played together on Team USA. Yes, LeBron’s teams have lost many games to Curry and his teammates but King James respects his rival.

What made him talk about his potential teaming up with Curry?

“[He’s] lethal, man. When he gets out his car, you better guard him right from the moment he pulls up to the arena,” LeBron said. “Soon as he gets out of his car, you better guard his a**. You might want to guard him when he gets out of bed. Swear to God.”

There’s more. Enter Luka Doncic. The Dallas Mavericks star caught LeBron’s attention at the very first moment he entered the NBA. Doncic is another player LeBron’s like to play with.

“Listen, there are obviously some other motherf***ers too … Luka cold. Luka a bad motherf***er too,” LeBron said.

We couldn’t agree more. Doncic has made quite a splash in the NBA and he has definitely helped the Mavericks win games. He is an excellent player and LeBron respects that.

This is definitely the ultimate compliment for young players like Doncic. The Mavericks appreciated his great effort and offered him an even better deal. Yes, LeBron had a really good reason to list him as the player he loves to play with.
