New Videos Feature Mac Jones, Patriots Receivers Working Out In Florida

The New England Patriots trusted their rookie quarterback in 2021 and he gave them a seven-game winning streak. Well, Mac Jones is not wasting his time and he is already working out with his teammates. Jones had a better debut than any other rookie quarterback. Guess what… He wasn’t happy with some of his games. Jones wants more, just like his head coach. I guess Bill Belichick taught him well.

The Patriots’ offseason workout program will begin in a couple of weeks. Jones and his teammates decided to use their time off to work out together. The group gathered in Tampa, FL, and enjoyed a good throwing session.

Mac Jones is working out with his teammates to build better connections

If you watch these videos, you will notice that Jones threw passes to wide receiver Kendrick Bourne. These two did wonders last season. We have a few good reasons to believe that they will have even better connection in 2022.

Jones and Bourne were joined by fellow wideouts Jakobi Meyers and Nelson Agholor. Running back J.J. Taylor was there, too.

Taylor had a limited role on the Patriots offense last season. Jones, Bourne, Meyers, and Agholor had a lot of starts.

Jones is an incredible player. The Patriots used the 15th overall to get him. He had to compete with Cam Newton last summer and of course, won the job. Belichick had a reason to trust him. The Patriots had a 10-7 record, but lost the wild-card game to their rivals, the Buffalo Bills.

Jones was able to build strong connection with Meyers and Bourne and this connection led the team to great success. Meyers and Jones connected 88 times for 895 yards and a score. Bourne and Jones connected 59 times for 775 yards and seven scores. Throw one interception in the bowl. According to NFL analysts, Jones and Bourne had one of the best connections in the league in 2021.

Let’s see what happens in 2022. We really hope that Jones builds a good connection with other players. Belichick is building a roster filled with winners. He sure has one in Jones.
