Patriots Fans Will Love This Mac Jones Offseason Report

The New England Patriots lost the wild-card game to the Buffalo Bills and didn’t make the big game last season. It was a good season for the team, but wasn’t good enough to make the Super Bowl. Head coach Bill Belichick has plenty of time to re-shape his roster and yes, he will build his 2022 group around the Alabama quarterback. Mac Jones did a really good job last season and the offseason report is pretty much everything you should read right now.

Jones was able to build an excellent relationship with his teammates. He was brilliant in his rookie season, and similar to Tom Brady, he is only interested in winning games.

Mac Jones meets expectations per offseason report

The Patriots quarterback and some of his teammates gathered for a workout in Tampa and used the opportunity to improve their connection.

Mike Reiss from ESPN discussed the workout and offered his thoughts on Jones’ performance.

“Some who have spent time around quarterback Mac Jones this offseason describe him as being on a mission — from following a disciplined diet to focusing on full-body fundamentals that will help him get more pace on his throws when needed, arm-care maintenance, as well as strengthening bonds with teammates on and off the field,” Reiss wrote in a column published Sunday. “While (Kendrick) Bourne’s Instagram photos from Tampa last week put a spotlight on Jones’ work with receivers, I’m told it wasn’t the first time Jones gathered with teammates this offseason, with a handful of sessions in Massachusetts a couple of weeks ago that included (Nelson) Agholor, tight end Jonnu Smith, practice-squad receiver Tre Nixon and running back Damien Harris, among others.”

Belichick will give Jones stronger weapons this season. He has already traded for DeVante Parker. The player will take the top receiving role with the team, joining a group of great players.

The 2022 season will be even better than the last one. Robert Kraft wants his team to make the playoffs and win a championship. Who doesn’t? Let’s see what happens this summer. The team will definitely make even more roster moves.
