Rob Gronkowski Delivers Clear Message About His Football Future

NFL players are in and out of the league, but some of them decide to return to the football field after making a short break. Rob Gronkowski is one of them and he has just made some eye-opening comments about his football future.

Gronkowski left the New England Patriots and spent an entire season off the field. He lost weight and partied like crazy. Many thought that Gronkowski would stay away from the game for good. Well, the former Patriots tight end came out of his retirement to join Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brady announced his retirement but changed his mind and returned to the field. Will Gronk stay around for a while?

Rob Gronkowski will make the best football future

The big man talked about this topic during an interview with SB Nation’s Debbie Emery.

“That will start if I decide that I want to play,” Gronk said. “There’s no reason to do that while there’s a decision to be made first. It’s all about if I decide to.”

If Gronkowski decides to play again, he will share the locker room with Brady.

“Not right now, the Buccaneers situation is just too good if I decide to go back and play,” Gronkowski said. “Like I said, I love all my teammates there. They are all great teammates and all selfless players, they are there for the team and what’s best for the team and the whole organization. If I do play football again, it’ll be for the Bucs.”

At least one NFL analyst believes that Gronk will play with the Buccaneers again.

“I think that’s the situation. I don’t see him anywhere else but Tampa – if he plays. He’s given some indications that he does expect to play,” Jason La Canfora said. “This is not somebody who needs to be there for the first day of lifting. This is not somebody who needs to prove his worth during OTAs and earn Tom Brady’s trust and get in the inner sanctum of the circle of trust. He’s already embedded there.”

Gronkowski had great performance with the Buccaneers. He was brilliant with the Patriots. Let’s not forget that he was one of the best tight ends in the league. Let’s see if he continues playing the game.
