Gronkowski appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and talked about the fact that teams help players get incentives from on-field performance. Yes, Gronk has been around for a while and he knows that some teams do this. However, he told Kimmel that his former team doesn’t do this.

“I’ve seen that happen before. Not with the Patriots, though. They’ll probably pull you before you hit that bonus there…” Gronkowski laughed. He then added, “I shouldn’t have said that.”

Kimmel made a big story out of this. He and Gronk had a good laugh and talked about Gronk’s experience with the Buccaneers. According to the star tight end, Tamp Bay helps players hit their incentives.

Gronkowski was probably joking. Well, some fans had trouble coping with these words. A lot of them agreed that the Patriots make things easier for their players.

“Pats, like other teams, do give the players the money if they came close to the incentive mark,” one fan replied.

“The Pats usually end up giving the bonus to the players missing it by not so much, anyway. And I even think it happened with Gronk once,” wrote another.

Gronk is about to make a big decision on his future. There are a few things on his table right now. What’s his first move? We can only make guesses at this point of the year.
