Russell Westbrook Mysterious Injury That May Have Led to Poor Season With Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers lost every hope to make playoffs this season. They lost too many games and these losses brought their season to an end a little earlier. Rob Pelinka will have plenty of time to rebuild his roster. Will he build a new roster around LeBron James and Anthony Davis? Will they stay around for another season or two? There are so many options for the team right now. Russell Westbrook is a hot topic these days and he may be dealing with an injury. A mysterious injury. An injury no one talked about in the regular season.

According to latest reports, Westbrook had a bad season just because he was recovering a bad injury.

Russell Westbrook suffered an injury?

The Lakers traded three players to get Russ, but this trade didn’t work at all. He had good numbers but it wasn’t enough. ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne reported that Westbrook had a bad season just because he was in pain.

“People on the team and around the league began to wonder if something was wrong with his hands or eyes. It’s not often a player makes just 65% of his dunks in a season. Sources close to Westbrook insist he has had his hands thoroughly checked by a specialist and that the treatment he receives regularly is no different than the regular treatment he does on his ankles and knees.

“Westbrook jammed the fingers on his right hand last season in Washington, but he never missed time with the injury. In 2014, he’d broken that hand and had surgery. But that was eight years and six All-Star appearances ago.”

Westbrook is one of the best players in the NBA, but he wasn’t enough for the Lakers. Let’s see how things go. Westbrook would love to stay in LA despite the treatment he received from heckling fans. He sees his future in Los Angeles. Will the Lakers keep him around for the upcoming season? The only thing we can do is sit and wait.
