Bill Belichick Coaching Patriots Offense: NFL World Reacts

The New England Patriots have yet to make their offensive coordinator. Josh McDaniels left the team after many years and he is now trying to coach his own team. The former Patriots offensive coordinator joined the Las Vegas Raiders as their new head coach. The Raiders were the only team to request an interview with McDaniels. Well, yes, he is on to something big as a NFL head coach. What about the Patriots? McDaniels left a big void on the Patriots coaching staff. According to several sources, head coach Bill Belichick may be coaching the offense in 2022.

Of course, Belichick didn’t say much about his role in the upcoming season. The same goes to other assistants. No one said a thing about their role in 2022. Belichick doesn’t rely on titles. He just wants his assistants to do their job.

Belichick was watching QB/WR drills. Joe Judge and Matt Patricia were there, too. Will Belichick coach the offense in the upcoming season? He has called plays, so yes, he can definitely do this. But he won’t really say much.

Bill Belichick to build a strong offense

Several reports have already confirmed that Belichick is working with the offense this offseason. We have a few good reasons to believe that he will be the Patriots OC in 2022.

Belichick was in charge of the Patriots defense in the last few seasons. The Patriots won a lot of games with the help of the offense. It seems like Belichick is switching sides this time.

The Patriots head coach doesn’t have any plans to retire. He is the best head coach in the NFL world. Belichick and Tom Brady built a dynasty and the head coach has to keep it alive. The Patriots brought Cam Newton to replace Brady, but Mac Jones’ arrival was a game-changer. Belichick will probably do his best to build a strong offense before he retires. Jones is an excellent quarterback and Belichick won’t have trouble working with him. The 2022 NFL season will be challenging for both the defense and the offense.
