Brian Windhorst Sheds Light on LeBron James NBA Future

There have been many rumors about LeBron James and his future in the NBA. The king of basketball is entering free agency in 2023 and the Lakers missed the chance to win a championship. Again. Jeanie Buss would love to keep LeBron on her roster and the superstar likes his current team. He would love to retire as a Laker.

Brian Windhorst made some comments on LeBron’s future. He took into consideration everything LeBron has accomplished in his career.

“With four titles, all these MVPs, gold medals, plus he will be the All-Time leading scorer (in league history) within the next year. I think he values going home at the end of a game and being happy. And even with all these losses in Los Angeles, he is happy. I don’t think he wants to go anywhere,’ Brian Windhorst recently told Rich Eisen.

LeBron James to make smart decision on his future

Bronny will enter the NBA and his arrival may change LeBron’s plans. He would love to share the floor with his son. Kevin Love knows LeBron really well and he knows that the king would love to retire like the superstar he is.

“I feel like it would be cool if it were one of those things where it was a one-game type of thing. So, if people asked, ‘where did you finish your career’ he can be like, ‘oh, I finished it in Cleveland.’ Obviously, I know he wants to have a Kobe-type exit, where he scores 60 and does his thing. And he probably will. Where it will be, nobody knows. But, at the end of the day, I think retiring a Cav, for him, the city, Akron, Ohio, I mean, that statue, I can’t wait till that goes up, I’ll be there.”

The Lakers will do their best to keep LeBron. However, they really should make some changes and trade troubling players. LeBron moved his business to LA. Why would he move again? Of course, doubters believe the Lakers should trade LeBron before he leaves them on thin ice. Let’s see what happens this offseason. Everyone is facing a challenge at the moment.
