Kevin Love Shares Bold Prediction on Lebron James Leaving Lakers

Kevin Love and LeBron James knows each other really well. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has to make a big decision on his future in the NBA. The Lakers left the playoff race this season and the front office will have to make some big moves to avoid similar scenario. Will the Lakers be able to keep LeBron on their team? Jeanie Buss likes him. LeBron likes his team.

Love heard all the rumors about LeBron and shared his thoughts in an interview with Taylor Rooks from Bleacher Report.

“I feel like it would be cool if it was one of those things where it was a one-game type of thing,” So, if people asked, ‘where did you finish your career’ he can be like, ‘oh, I finished it in Cleveland.’

“Obviously, I know he wants to have a Kobe-type exit, where he scores 60 and does his thing. And he probably will. Where it will be, nobody knows. But, at the end of the day, I think retiring a Cav, for him, the city, Akron, Ohio, I mean, that statue, I can’t wait till that goes up, I’ll be there.”

Kevin Love starts off big discussion about LeBron James

LeBron is coming off of a MVP season. However, he didn’t win the individual award because the Lakers missed the playoffs. King James was averaging 30.3 points, 6.2 assists, and 8.2 rebounds per game while going 52.4% from the field and 35.9% from three.

Rob Pelinka will do his best to find the best head coach for the team. Frank Vogel was fired and the Lakers need a new name.

“Lakers vice president of basketball operations and general manager Rob Pelinka made it clear that the team was going to take their time with the search and that one of the most important coaching qualities would be gravitas,” Jovan Buha detailed. “That suggests a coach with experience, but several of the first-year candidates they’ve been linked to are former players that are known to command respect.”

The new head coach will definitely affect LeBron’s decision. It’s an important season for both LeBron and the Lakers.
