Magic Johnson Tweet About Lakers Is Going Viral

The Los Angeles Lakers will be really busy this offseason. They finished the 2021-22 NBA season with a losing record. Rob Pelinka has to improve the roster and get rid of the players who didn’t fit in the picture. Magic Johnson may be out of the Lakers front office, but he has something to say about the offseason and it went viral.

Johnson was really active on social media. He fired a tweet every time the Lakers lost a game or missed a huge opportunity. Johnson even tweeted that team owner Jeanie Buss deserves better. We all know what that means.

The Hall of Famer didn’t place the blame on one particular person, but he sure wanted Russell Westbrook to take responsibility. Brodie is coming out of a terrible season and the Lakers are looking for the perfect trade partner. Several reporters have confirmed that both LA and Russ want to bring this partnership to an end. Truth is, the Lakers have trouble trading Westbrook. He shoots bricks and had a bad season. NBA teams would get him only if the Lakers add a couple of first-rounders to the trade offer.

Magic Johnson goes viral, fans react

Johnson is following the situation carefully. He took to Twitter AGAIN to discuss the situation in LA. According to the NBA legend, the Lakers are one of the two “big market teams” that has to improve.

“The two big market teams that need to improve are the Lakers and the Knicks,” Magic tweeted.

Fans had mixed reactions. Some of them agreed with Johnson while others criticized Johnson. As always.

“Magic with some real bold takes this afternoon.”

“Thank you for the A+ analysis here, Earvin Magic Johnson.”

“So glad you aren’t a GM anymore so you can speak freely to give us such insightful analysis. Thank you Magic!”

“Wow Magic, this is transcendent thinking.”

The Lakers have to try extra hard to repair the damage. They will have to find a new head coach, too. Frank Vogel was the first member of the organization to leave LA. Was he a scapegoat? We won’t go into that one. The only thing we know is the fact that the Lakers front office will have a busy summer.
