Patrick Beverley Says Without Hesitation That He’d Like to Team Up With LeBron James

Patrick Beverley got into a thing with LeBron James this past season, but he’d definitely love to play with the four-time NBA champion. Beverley is a tough, physical defender who talks trash more than any other player in the NBA. Most NBA players don’t even want to get any near him for obvious reasons. Beverley is someone you’d love to play with, but he is also someone you’d hate to play against.

Beverley appeared on the ESPN’s studio show and talked about his NBA career. Which superstar he would gladly play with?

“LeBron. Top dog, only dog,” the veteran said.

Beverley has one year left on his deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He will probably stay in Minnesota for at least a year. Beverley has been in the NBA for ten decades and he will sure make the best decision for his career.

Patrick Beverley to join forces with LeBron James

Will the Lakers even consider getting Beverley? He could give the Lakers the much-needed boost on the defensive side of the ball. There’s one huge obstacle. Russell Westbrook and Beverley hate each other. They have wen against one another on so many occasions. Yes, these two get into a thing every time they are set to play.

If the Lakers want Beverley, they will have to get rid of Westbrook. The nine-time All-Star is coming off of a bad season with the Lakers. Rob Pelinka brought him to LA to take the team to the top. Westbrook’s addition was a big mistake. He had issues with Lakers coaches and Frank Vogel benched him in a few occasions.

The idea of seeing Beverley put on a Lakers jersey is nothing but a rumor. A story that will make cool headlines for some time.

Jeanie Buss and Pelinka have to take care of the issues in the locker room. They may get rid of Westbrook. Anthony Davis has been a subject of many rumors. The Lakers need a new head coach, too. The new head coach will have to work with a different roster. Beverley may not join the Lakers, but the franchise will look different next season.
