AFC Assistant Coaches Have Great Praise For This Patriots Player

The New England Patriots have a lot of great players on the roster and Kyle Dugger is one of them. Head coach Bill Belichick signed each and every player on his roster for a reason. Dugger may not be the highest-paid player, but he can definitely make an impact. The 2022 NFL season will be really important for the talented player. AFC assistant coaches have been watching Dugger this whole time and they have nothing but words of praise for the Patriots player.

AFC coaches like Dugger’s potential and everything he brings to the field. They all pointed to the same detail. Dugger’s salary is really low and he could be a good fit for any other team in the NFL. Having an underpaid star seems to be a good option.

Three out of four assistant coaches said Dugger is the low-salaried player they’d get from New England.

“He’s mean. He could have played in any era,” one coach told Mike Giardi.

AFC assistant coaches would snatch the Patriots player without a second thought

Dugger is a versatile player and the Patriots defense got the much needed boost. In 2021, the talented player delivered four interceptions and 92 tackles which was the second most on the team.

Belichick’s star adds great value to the gameplan. He is on his rookie deal, but the Patriots should definitely consider giving him a good deal. The former 37th overall pick inked a four-year deal worth $8.4 million with a $1.4 million base salary.

“He could be fooled with misdirection or a QB could maneuver him with his eyes earlier in his career,” another anonymous coach told Giardi. “You could see the game slowed down for him a bunch last year. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t become a week-in, week-out force.”

The NFL world has high expectations from Dugger and he should meet each of these. The 2022 NFL season will throw a lot of challenges in his face. Will Dugger get a big deal with the team? Will Belichick even consider giving him more money? He sure needs every bit of Dugger’s potential in the upcoming season.
